KEVIN AYERS has long been revered as a founding member of the pioneering and highly influential Canterbury U.K outfit SOFT MACHINE, and for a string of brilliant solo records throughout the 1970's. Now, he has triumphantly returned after a 15 YEAR silence with a stellar new recording: THE UNFAIRGROUND. Mr. Ayers is not alone in this effort either enlisting the services of Ladybug Transistor as his principal backing band and featuring guest spot by members of Neutral Milk Hotel, Phil Manzanera and fellow Soft Machine alumns Robert Wyatt and Hugh Hopper.
